I'm Steven Osarczuk, owner of WaywardSun Audio Productions. I am a voiceover talent and an audiobook producer. I reside in the Hudson Valley in northern New York. I attended University in New York as a Graphic and Fine Arts Major. After college I became a police officer and retired with 27 years of service. I attained the Rank of Lieutenant in command of Operations and Training. I have specialized skills as a Tactical Team Hostage Negotiator, Critical Incident Commander and Crisis Intervention Specialist among other law enforcement specialties. After retiring from law enforcement, I became a woodworker and started a business with several stores where I sold my work and designs worldwide. As a side hobby I was helping an old friend write and edit his book and when it was finally published I decided to take that opportunity to narrate it and produce it. It was always a dream of mine to do voice over work so, when this door opened before me I seized the chance. Since then, I've been narrating and producing novels, novellas, short story collections, poetry and self-help style manuscripts. I also narrate technical manuals and educational materials.  I work in all genres and with books of all sizes. I love the creative process and enjoy working with innovative people. I understand the passion of writing, the effort involved and sheer determination it takes to write a novel which is why it is my goal as a narrator to bring voice to an author's characters in the way they have always heard them in their head. I work closely with my authors to get the right voice for their characters. Tone, emotion and accents are some of the key elements for an entertaining and successful audiobook production. I built a fully equipped studio capable of turning written novels into  professionally mastered audiobooks, ready for market. I'm laid back and easy to speak with.
